I actually think the black case looks good; reminds me of my old Sega Genesis. Oh well, a retro miracle is a retro miracle no matter what color case it comes in. Hopefully my Earthbound SNES game cartridge will work with it. It would be one small step for the Starmen (Earthbound/Mother fans), and one giant slap in the face for Nintendo of America (who seem way too reluctant to give it another chance).

Rest assured, it is just as exciting for myself as it is for you :-) When it comes to looking at the final cases, I will be 5 minutes ahead of you.
I would have gone for deep red or black (which was my own preference to begin with, as well as the poll outcome). But after some experiments with the samples, I know that bright colors WILL look better than dark ones, given that the processing order had to be changed to anodization first, machining after. Now let's hope we get the meanest, most violent yellow the world has ever seen :)

@Luke -- he already ordered the cases so its probably too late to change anyways.

either way i am sure people will repaint it themselves anyways if they dont like it.

you can do a lot with 'Krylon'

I would be fine with one that looks like that (black). Are you sure you want to go with yellow without letting us even see a picture first?
