Die Retrode ist ein einfach zu bedienender USB-Adapter für Super Nintendo und Sega Mega Drive Spiele aus aller Welt (PAL/NTSC). Für nahezu alle Rechnerarchitekturen und Betriebssysteme gibt es mittlerweile Emulatoren für diese Konsolen. Mit der Retrode können sie nun endlich die Spiele direkt vom Spielmodul laden, und zwar völlig legal! Selbstverständlich können die auf vielen SNES-Spielen vorhandenen batteriegepufferten Spielstände auch geladen und verändert werden.

 The Retrode is an easy to use USB adapter for Super Nintendo / Super Famicom and Sega Mega Drive / Genesis game cartridges. It supports games from all regions, no matter whether NTSC or PAL. There is a huge number of console emulators for virtually all existing systems, and the Retrode is the link that enables them to load the ROM data straight from the cartridge – legally! Of course, the savegame RAM on many SNES cartridges can also be read and written.
