Et voilà, here we have lots of shiny golden Retrodes for the preorderers. I will ship them this week, just in time so you can try your brand new Retrode with your brand new Pandora :-) For all others, I have to ask you for a little more patience. Next week I will be out [...] Here we see a box of production Retrode mainboards that I just set up and tested. Funny how the green circuit boards and the pink bubble wrap add to the christmasy mood of this shot ;-) According to the person who did the CNC machining, the cases should be delivered on Thursday or Friday, if [...] You may remember that naming contest where I couldn’t quite make up my mind and ended up sticking to the old name. Well, with a little delay, I finally decided to rename the project after all. Back then, [Fydo] had come up with a couple of particularly nice suggestions, among them “Retrode” which has kept [...] In preparation of “mass production” (this sounds a bit weird for a project that started 6 weeks ago, doesn’t it?), I have decided to freeze the current set of hardware features. The firmware will of course be improved further, and there’s more SNES testing coming up soon. Let’s have a quick look at my personal [...] As you may have noticed, this project still has a pretty awkward name (in case you did not notice while watching the video: I am clearly not a marketing person :-)).
